An Expert Who Offers Relationship Advice and Marriage Counseling Tips

 

          Dr. John J. Parrino is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Atlanta, Georgia. He has worked with individuals and married couples in therapy for over twenty five years, as well as serving as a corporate consultant on stress management for many of the top companies in the country.

          Dr. Parrino is the author of numerous self help books, including From Panic To Power: The Positive Use of Stress (John Wiley, 1979; Performance Management Publications, 1991) which received a sterling review by the Wall Street Journal. His two year segment on Atlanta television – Stress Tips – was rated No. 1 in the Atlanta area for the Tips segment of PM Magazine. He has been on CNN and other national television shows speaking on his unique approach to individual and relationship stress management.

          The Psychologist and author is considered an innovator in the area of self help and marriage counseling, combining stress management with relationship advice to create a Relationship Stress model of treatment. He is well published in his field, including a study on families and stress which was presented at the centennial celebration of the America Psychological Association with colleagues Dr. Jack Farrar and Ms. Meredith Moreland. His latest book is Jungle of Love: Stress Management Strategies for Love Relationships (iUniverse, 2005). 

          Dr. Parrino is past president of the Biofeedback Society of Georgia and a member of the American Psychological Association, Georgia Psychological Association and The International Association for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. He has been happily married for twenty four years and lives with his wife in Atlanta, Georgia.
